  • Carla,
I’m with you about the project of a weekly challenge on web2.0 tools and I’ll keep tagging to Co comment. It’s great to think that we will not be split apart as a group, but instead, will be interacting differently and thus we will keep strengthening our ties as a community. For me, as a newbie, this is wonderful.
I’m “carioca”, from Rio de Janeiro, living in Portugal since childhood.

  • @Sarah Loved your video and seeing you. I think we can gather the crowd and keep challenging ourselves weekly. BTW, I had a blast watching you and your kids dancing and singing!

@Ines The weekly challenge was suggested by somebody else in the group, and I thought it was a great idea, too. So, you’re a carioca. That’s wonderful. I just love Rio! I was meaning to contact you because I browsed your blog and saw that you teach kids. Do you know Teresa Almeida D’Eça? If not, I can show you the great work she does with kids in Portugal.

  • Good idea!
The more participants have a hands-on opportunity, the more learning takes place. It is only when I try to include posts on different formats in my blog that I feel the need to communicate asking (or shout out crying) for help.
    Thanks for being at hand.
By the way, you look great and about accent… we all have our own: THAT’S THE BEST PART OF IT! WE are unique!
Lots of love from an unusually cold MIsiones, ma.ma.

  • Carla; Thank you for being such a good teacher! You’re so concerned!! I must tell you that I took the B4B this year, I just read the B4 Beginners blog (I hadn’t taken it before), and I try to go on learning from you and other incredible educators.I’ve created my own blog, blogs for my studentsand… I was wondering: OK, How much can they do? Where else can they arrive? (Dafne, Tere, Vance, You, -sorry but the list is really long-. Of course there’s always a new tool, new gadget, but what I mean is the pedagogical implications. And now after listening to your post I see there’s no limit to imagination! Congrats, again. Stella (from Argentina)

  • @ Mama and Stella

Girls, thanks for taking your time to be here with me. It’s interesting to get this kind of feedback after some months after the Blogging4Educators session, and knowing that you are finding your way in blogging. You’re right. There are no limits to what we can do. There’s always something new, no end of the road, just an endless space of possibilities. Stella, you touched what I find is the crucial aspect of any tech endeavor we embrace, its pedagogical implications. If students won’t have no gains and there isn’t any pedagogical use of the tool, no need to waste precious time in that. I always consider what my students will gain in terms of learning when I’m trying out something new with them. This is key for a successful learning experience.
